I now live in New York with my husband. We are slaves to two wonderful furry friends adopted from local shelters..:)

I've been an avid reader of romance novels for 30 years. I started with Mills & Boons and Harlequin novels in the 1980's. Why? Because real life is just too 'ordinary'...;) 

In the 1990's I used to work in the same building as Bantam Doubleday Dell Publishing, at 1540 Broadway in New York City, and they'd give out free hard copies of recently published hard cover romance novels. Aww...the good old days :)

In the 2000's I found Jane Austin's Pride & Prejudice, Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest, Lord Byron's poetry, William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet. And one of my all-time favorites---Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë. The list goes on and on. 

Thank goodness for eBooks now, because my husband and I haven't the room to store all the physical books we've read.
